Mealworms & Potato Boats


4 big potatoes
Cooking oil, as needed
25 boiled mealworms
1 cup chopped scallions
Salt, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste


  1. Wash the potatoes but don’t peel them. Cut them into wedges (“boats”).
  2. Heat up oil in a saucepan.
  3. Deep-fry potato wedges, mealworms and scallions together for approximately 3 minutes.
  4. Take out of the oil and add salt and garlic powder to taste.
  5. Serve.
