- 10 whole cicadas
- 1⁄2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking oil, as needed
- 1⁄2 cup seafood cocktail sauce
- Marinate the cicadas in Worcestershire sauce for 2 hours.
- Dip each cicada in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs
- Heat up oil in a large saucepan.
- Deep-fry the cicadas.
- Serve with seafood cocktail sauce.
