This recipe yields 1 loaf of bread.
2 very ripe bananas
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
½ cup shortening
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup chopped hazelnuts
¼ cup dry-roasted mealworms
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a loaf pan.
- Peel the bananas. Mash them in a bowl.
- Mix in all the other ingredients.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan, and bake in the oven for approximately 60 minutes.
